Released TNA wrestler Jessy Sorensen (a/k/a Jesse Sorensen) was critical of TNA president Dixie Carter in a post he wrote for a fundraiser project. "My name is Jessy Sorensen(Jesse Sorensen) I am a former professional wrestler for TNA Impact Wrestling seen every Thursday night on SpikeTV," Sorensen wrote. "On Feb.12th 2012 during a live match on pay per view vs Zema Ion I suffered a sever neck injury sustaining a broke C-1 vertebrae & herniated C-5 & C-6.

"After a long recovery process and being promised by the President of TNA Impact Wrestling TNA Dixie Carter I would always have a job with her company, I recently was released from my current contract and shown that those promises were false." Powell's POV: Sorensen is attempting to raise the $600 he needs for a bodybuilding show that takes place on October 5 in Tampa. He noted that he thought he would have to drop out of the show now that he was released from TNA.

As for the false promises, I was told by someone else with knowledge of the situation that Carter told Sorensen and his mother that he would always have a place in TNA Wrestling. Carter has yet to comment on his release.
