TNA has announced that Jeff Hardy was pulled from the UK and Ireland tour dates "due to an injury sustained on the TNA Impact Wrestling show on January 18." TNA announced that Sting will replace Hardy on events in Dublin, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, and London. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Carl James]

Powell's POV: Hardy worked the main event of Friday's taping in a match against Christopher Daniels. The spoilers are available on the main page. TNA did not list the nature of the injury. While there is no reason at this point to believe the injury is not legitimate, the announcing and the quick addition of Sting does leave me wondering whether there are any restrictions from Hardy's past legal troubles that would prevent him from making the trip overseas.
