TNA star James Storm was featured in the latest Country Weekly Magazine and Dot Net reader Dave Wolf sent in the following synopsis:
The article details Storm's love of country music, and how his grandmother was a big George Jones fan, and how she was actually friends with Dolly Parton, whom Storm met several years ago. Storm mentioned his grandfather was as backwoods as backwoods gets, which goes hand in hand with being country, and you can't come come home listening to rap.
Storm also noted that he gravitates towards country stars with "gritty voices", including David Allan Coe, Troy Gentry, and Tim McGraw. Storm noted that 'The Ride' by David Allan Coe is his favorite song.
The article also mentioned that Storm's theme song, "Longnecks & Rednecks" can be be purchased at shoptna.com.
Shore's Slant: At least his favorite song wasn't "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. Mine's "Love Song" by Taylor Swift...I mean "The Bone Song" by Blake Shelton. I get the mixed up sometimes.
