As reported in Dot Net Members' Audio, the plan for the conclusion of Monday's TNA Impact was for Jeff Hardy to hit the Swanton on A.J. Styles before the show went off the air. However, the match ran long and the show went off the air at the scheduled time just seconds before Hardy performed the move.

Powell's POV: There was a lot of finger pointing going on backstage after the show concluded with a number of people blaming Vince Russo since he's responsible for the timing of the show. In fairness to Russo, it's also possible that the wrestlers in the main event went long. The bigger issue in my mind is that TNA didn't bother to advertise anything on Monday night for next week's show. Although I was more entertained by Impact than Raw this week, the TNA show felt like a one-off special rather than a weekly series.
