TNA News: Genesis will not air on pay-per-view

TNA announced that Genesis will take place on January 16 in Huntsville, Alabama at the Von Braun Center.

Powell's POV: The show will air on a Thursday and will be broadcast on Spike TV. In other words, it's a pay-per-view themed edition of Impact. Genesis was one of the four remaining live pay-per-view events the company had this year. At this point, one has to wonder whether TNA has scaled back on their live pay-per-view count or gotten out of live pay-per-views completely.
