Former TNA Champion Rob Van Dam is slated to return at tonight's TNA Impact taping.

Powell's POV: This will be Van Dam's first appearance since his injury angle with Abyss. That footage was taped on August 9, so they stripped him of the title only to bring him back less than 30 days later. That said, RVD's appearance won't air for a couple more weeks, which is after the usual 30-day mandatory title defense period.
