TNA has released Douglas Williams based upon Twitter statements he has made. Williams tweeted, "Thank you to all the great fans support during the past four years. Time for bigger and better things," and "A huge shame I won't get the chance to train with Rampage Jackson. What an honour that could have been." Shore's Slant: Williams has been off TV for some time while working as a trainer in OVW. What a shame. He's a great talent, but at 40 years of age, his best years may be behind him.
