-Dinero feels that the older guys in TNA are being used correctly. He said not like they are headlining pay-per-views and the casual fan flipping the channels might come across Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair and show interest. The hardcore TNA fan will still watch TNA regardless.
-People have criticized TNA for the nostaglic booking, but nobody has criticized WWE for using Bret Hart like how they have. "Nostaglia is good when its used properly." He said that putting Hart out there in his current state is sad in his opinion.
-Dinero feels that TNA is heading in the right direction and is featuring the younger guys. "I just feel that TNA has a plan," Dinero said. "We are heading in the right direction. The focus has been on the younger guys... I think it's going to be pretty interesting to see everything unfold."
-Dinero ducked a question about him teasing that Carlito has signed with TNA on his Twitter page (goes off on an amusing tangent on Dixie Carter). He claimed he got some news and thought it was cool, so that's why he wrote what he did on his Twitter page.
Powell's POV: Dinero posted a message on his Twitter page on the day Dixie Carter teased a signing. He wrote that he'd just heard the news, and then used Carlito's catchphrase. He acted in the interview like it was just a coincidence and then tried to spin it into a tease for Batista by saying, "It's like The Animal was unleashed." If it is Carlito, Pope would be wise to not to raise expectations for an even bigger name such as Batista.
Meanwhile, many of us have criticized WWE for using Hart in the ring, although I have no problem with him working as a non-wrestling performer on the show.
