After being roundly criticized for his use of gay slurs and what many considered to be a weak apology, TNA star Bully Ray took to Twitter again this morning and made a second attempt at apologizing while also revealing he has spoken with the fan he used the words on. Ray tweeted: "Had a very positive talk with the man I got into a verbal altercation with in Chicago. I personally apologized for my careless choice of words and my ignorance with regard to certain slurs I used. I take full responsibility and once again I apologize to all." You can see Ray's tweets at @REALBully5150.

Shore's Slant: A much more contrite and honest apology than what we got from Bully Ray a couple of days ago. It's also nice to know he spoke to the fan directly and apologized as well. It's late coming, but I don't think this is a case of "too little, too late." Now that he has sincerely apologized, I think most people will move on fairly quickly.
