TNA News: Brooke Hogan released

Prowrestling.net has confirmed that Brooke Hogan has been released by TNA. She was the storyline authority figure of the Knockouts Division.

Powell's POV: Brooke played her role as an on-air character better than I expected she would. However, her storyline with Bully Ray had run its course and TNA is wise to save whatever money they were paying her in favor of spending it on in-ring talent who go on the road. The early word is that the split between Brooke and TNA was said to be amicable.
