TNA Champion A.J. Styles let loose on creative team leader Vince Russo over booking matters. Styles was frustrated over "what he argued was dismal booking of him early in his run as champion," Wade Keller of PWTorch.com reported. Styles feels he's been made to look like a weak champion by Russo.

In related news, PWTorch.com also reports that Samoa Joe blew up at TNA management "for what he felt was a blow-off of a commitment to utilize a friend's business for catering at the pay-per-view over the weekend." For more information these stories, visit PWTorch.com.

Powell's POV: It's hard to argue with Styles. He won the belt in fluky fashion when Sting left the ring and allowed him to pin Kurt Angle. Then he wrestled Angle to a draw on last week's Impact show.

Styles isn't the only person questioning the creative direction this week. Although fans are excited about the matchups the creative team has put together, I've spoken with several people within the company who were optimistic regarding Russo a couple weeks ago, yet have already changed their tune.

Meanwhile, Keller also reported that Nash had a "civil discussion" with Brother Ray of Team 3D after Chris Sabin was injured at Wednesday's taping. I reported yesterday that Nash yelled at Team 3D for not ending the match. Whether there was yelling or a civil discussion, there's no denying that Nash felt Team 3D and/or the production truck should have aborted the planned finish to protect Sabin.
