TNA News: A.J. Styles' contract to expire next month

The contract of A.J. Styles is scheduled to expire in September. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reports that there hasn't been much of an attempt by TNA to strike a new deal.

Powell's POV: If TNA doesn't make a real effort to re-sign Styles then it's only fair to begin asking serious questions about the long term future of the company. He's been their homegrown talent poster boy all these years and is/was my pick to win the Bound For Glory Series and challenge for the TNA Title at Bound For Glory. TNA has made numerous cuts that were wise calls from a financial standpoint, but failing to make a strong attempt to re-sign Styles would be an odd move considering how much time and effort they have invested in his current persona.
