TNA Impact to air on Thursday night

A replay of Monday's TNA Impact will air Thursday night on Spike TV at 8:00 p.m. CT. The network was originally scheduled to air a movie in that time slot, but apparently the decision was made today to replay Monday's Impact instead. [Thanks to various readers for passing along the story]

Powell's POV: No word yet on whether this is a permanent move by Spike TV and TNA. The replay is already listed on the DirecTV onscreen guide, so viewers who look for the show tomorrow night will see that Impact is advertised rather than the movie.

As previously noted, a TNA source told me last week that there were no plans to replay the show in the old Thursday night time slot because they didn't want to do anything that would potentially take away from their Monday night viewing audience. That conversation took place before the rating for last week's show came in at a surprisingly strong 1.0 rating, which likely had some influence on the decision to air the replay.
