Spike TV president Kevin Kay told Multichannel News that TNA Impact is planning to air TNA Impact on Monday nights on a quarterly basis. "If it's successful, I'm not opposed to moving it to Monday nights," Kay said. "This is the time for this ... TNA has a lot of momentum with Hulk Hogan and we have the ability to market and promote it." To read the dull article, visit MultiChannel.com.

Powell's POV: It's cool to hear the network is committed to testing the water via the quarterly Monday night shows. That said, the network has to beef up their marketing of the show. There were no ads for Impact during the seven episodes that led up to the finale of the Ultimate Fighter. Of course, Hogan, Eric Bischoff, and Dixie Carter appeared on the finale, but it still feels like the network could do more to promote the show. Likewise, TNA also needs to do more marketing of their own to spread the word about their product.
