Powell's POV: TNA drew a 0.9 overall rating with an average of 1.2 million viewers. The first hour of the show scored a 0.9 rating, while hour two did a 0.78 (minus the overrun).

The earlier start was beneficial for TNA, particularly when you consider that they didn't do a big marketing blitz to get the word out. Here's hoping the first hour rating this week and back and January 4 are enough to convince TNA and Spike TV that a move to the earlier time slot is the right move. By the way, the 1.0 overrun rating that was mentioned earlier was rounded up from the 0.97.
