Thursday's TNA Impact drew a 1.22 rating, which is up from the 1.06 rating the show drew the previous week. The show drew an average of 1.6 million viewers.
Powell's POV: TNA and Spike TV officials have to be thrilled with the increased rating. If the ECW reunion is leading to the increase, then the trick for TNA is to find a way to get the fans tuning in excited about the regular TNA programming once Sunday's Hardcore Justice pay-per-view concludes. Obviously, they are banking on the Whole F'n Show special that will air on Aug. 12 to do just that. Check back for the quarter-hour breakdown later today.
