TNA Impact rating: The rating increases heading into the two shows taped outside the Impact Zone

Thursday's TNA Impact Wrestling television show drew a 1.21 rating, which is up from the 1.05 the show drew last week. Impact averaged 1.622 million viewers.

Powell's POV: This is a good increase for TNA, which only has to contend with one more week of preseason football coverage and then the big opening night game on September 8. Once that date passes, TNA will get a break from NFL games until November 10 when the NFL Network's Thursday night package kicks in. Thursday's NFL game drew 4.6 million viewers.
