Thursday's TNA "Whole F'n Show" drew a 1.15 rating, which is down from the 1.2 rating the show drew the two previous weeks according to WrestlingObserver.com. Meanwhile, the TNA Reaction show scored a 0.9 rating.

Powell's POV: The Impact rating drop is disappointing because they delivered a pay-per-view caliber lineup only to lose viewers. My concern going in was that the ECW nostalgia would wear off after the TNA Hardcore Justice pay-per-view. However, it's just as possible that people who had been tuning in for the former ECW wrestlers didn't watch Impact this week simply because TNA didn't advertise any EV2 involvement in the show. Rather, it was hyped as Hulk Hogan's surprise.

Meanwhile, Reaction is off to a strong start. Eric Bischoff told me last week that he would be happy if they were able to maintain half the Impact rating. They did that and more for the first week. As I mentioned last night, it was a wise move to go right into Reaction as the beatdown angle was still going. It will be interesting to see if they are able to make similar moves in the weeks ahead.
