TNA Impact Wrestling rating: Live shows get off to a lousy start in the ratings

Thursday's live edition of TNA Impact Wrestling drew a 0.89 rating, down from the 1.02 rating from last week. Impact averaged 1.29 million viewers, down from the 1.43 million the week before.

Powell's POV: The big factor is likely the switch to the earlier time slot, though we don't have the quarter-hours or hourly breakdown at this time. Obviously, this has to be a big disappointment for the company and Spike TV. WWE Raw has also had issues getting viewers to watch Raw when the three-hour specials start an hour earlier, so hopefully TNA will be able to get back on track once the new time slot becomes the norm for viewers.
