TNA Impact Wrestling rating: How did the final show before No Surrender perform in the ratings?

Thursday's TNA Impact Wrestling television show drew a 0.96 rating, down from the 1.07 rating the show drew the week before. Impact averaged 1.217 million viewers.

Powell's POV: It was a rough week for Impact, as the show did it's worst rating since August 9. One can only assume that the Democratic National Convention and the MTV Music Awards played parts in the rating dropping so significantly from the week before. The music awards drew 6.134 million viewers for MTV. This doesn't bode well for the No Surrender pay-per-view on Sunday, which also faces stiff competition in the form of the first Sunday Night Football game.
