Thursday's TNA Impact Wrestling television show drew a 0.82 rating, down from the 0.95 rating the show drew last week. Impact averaged 1.084 million viewers, down from the 1.126 million average from last Thursday.
Powell's POV: TNA went against an NFL game with two big market teams in the New York Giants vs. Chicago Bears along with MLB competition. The NFL game drew 7.8 million viewers, and MLB scored 5.445 million viewers for TBS. Plus, the cable ratings juggernaut Pawn Stars returned with an hour of new programming. While we can point to reasons for the decline, there's no way to spin it as a positive that the show's numbers are falling with only one show remaining before the company's biggest pay-per-view of the year.
