Thursday's TNA Impact television show drew a 0.96 rating, down slightly from the 0.98 rating the show drew last week. Impact averaged 1.242 million viewers, down from the 1.320 million average from the week before.
Powell's POV: Excluding the Thanksgiving edition of Impact, this is the lowest viewership the show has had since October 25. Impact drew a 1.14 rating a year ago at this time.
The potentially encouraging news for TNA is that they have gone against the last Thursday night NFL game until next season. The NFL Network led cable in viewership with 5.2 million viewers for the Bengals vs. Eagles game this week. There will be college football bowl games over the next couple of weeks, and TNA will continue go up against the NBA, which delivered 3.1 million viewers for TNT on Thursday.
