Powell's POV: The OMEGA name stands for Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts and was established by the Hardys in 1997. The group's Wiki page notes that Thomas Simpson also helped. There were plenty of guys who went on to bigger and better things that worked for OMEGA, including Shane Helms, Shannon Moore, Joey Mathews, Christian York, Steve Corino, C.W. Anderson, Lita, and Caprice Coleman.
