Mick Foley made an unadvertised appearance at the TNA house show in Long Island, N.Y. tonight. Newsday.com blogger Alfonso Castillo reports that Foley showed up dressed in all black with a leather vest just before the Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle main event.
Foley asked the crowd to chant the names of all his children because it was only the second time that his entire family attended a show. "Thank you so much," he told the fans. "I would not be here if I didn't believe in this company. I love the show and I'm looking to hopefully make a huge impact on TNA." To read the full blog, visit Newsday.com Steel Cage blog.
Powell's POV: The story noted that Foley never stepped foot in the ring. Rather, he remained at ringside when he cut his promo. The Newsday features a photo of Foley waving to the fans in front of the TNA ring. By the way, I am still in need of a report from tonight's house show. If you attended the show and can help, please send a report to dotnetjason@gmail.com.
