Barring a dramatic turn of events, the main event of Sunday's TNA Hardcore Justice pay-per-view featuring Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn will not take place as advertised. Multiple sources report that Lynn was forced to pull out of the show due to a back injury.

There were rumblings earlier this week that the match was in jeopardy because Lynn had to pull out of a scheduled indy match this weekend. It is believed that TNA officials found out about the cancellation within the last 24 hours. TNA has yet to announce the cancellation, so there's no word yet on what the new main event will be.

Powell's POV: Tough break for Lynn and TNA. I was looking forward to seeing RVD vs. Lynn one more time, and one can only hope that TNA will bring in Lynn once he recovers to give the fans that match.

The majority of ECW diehards would probably like to see RVD vs. Sabu in the main event. However, I don't know if Sabu can live up to high expectations at this point in his career. I'd like to see one of the better workers such as Justin Credible or even Rhino to the match.

They could always bill the match as a three-way dance between three former ECW Champions. Credible and Rhino may not rank high on the fan wish list for a main event role, but they could help make the match better if Sabu is physically unable to hold up his end of a singles match.
