Kurt Angle's status for the weekend house shows, Petey Williams out

The TNA website is still advertising Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle as the main event of the weekend house shows even though Angle is out with a neck injury. Prowrestling.net has confirmed that while Angle will not be able to wrestle, he will make appearances at the weekend house shows. One source was under the impression that Joe would defend the TNA Title against Tomko at tonight's show in Binghamton, N.Y.

In related news, X Division Champion Petey Williams is still advertised on the TNA website. However, he is out with a fractured orbital bone and will not appear at the shows.

Powell's POV: Kudos to Angle for continuing to make appearances at the house show events despite his injury. He's the biggest name in the company and his presence at the shows will mean a lot to fans who expected him to face Joe in the main event. Petey may hold the X Division strap, but he's not a main eventer and the company can get away with not bringing him in for the house shows if he's injured.
