Former TNA wrestler announces that he's signed a contract with WWE

Lance Hoyt announced at the PCW indy show on Sunday night that he has signed a WWE contract. You can read a full recap of his announcement and the show at PCW's Myspace Page.

Powell's POV: It's worth noting that Joey Matthews made a similar announcement on an indy show last year that turned out to be part of a storyline. I believe the Hoyt news is legit. He has the size that WWE looks for. I assume he inked a developmental deal and will report to Florida Championship Wrestling. Hoyt worked for the TNA promotion until his contract expired. He was written off television when he lost a match to Beer Money that carried the stipulation that he had to leave the company.
