TNA wrestler Jesse Neal was scolded by agents and wrestlers for taking an unprotected chair shot to the head during the eight-man tag match at Sunday's TNA Final Resolution pay-per-view. He was lectured for not putting his hand up to absorb the blow.

Powell's POV: Multiple sources have stated their belief that Neal was trying to show his toughness by taking the shot to the head. The feeling is that it was a mistake made by a young wrestler, and it's encouraging to hear that it was a topic of discussion backstage. I don't feel that TNA should punish Neal, but one can only hope that management will address the issue with the talent at some point and make it clear that unprotected shots to the head are not acceptable.
