-Team 3D's Devon worked a match at the television tapings despite suffering an ankle injury during Sunday's pay-per-view. The initial concern is that he suffered an Achilles tendon injury or a severe ankle sprain, but it turned out to be a relatively minor ankle injury. He appeared on the show in a non-wrestling role last night for those who missed it.

-There were online reports earlier this week that TNA had hired Savio Vega to serve as a new agent. However, the buzz backstage was that nothing was official. At the very least, company officials did not make any formal announcement to the rest of the staff regarding his hiring.

Powell's POV: Observers say Devon was selling the injury during his match at the tapings (for next week's show), but he appeared to be okay backstage. Sources were praising his professionalism and toughness for working through the injury during Sunday's pay-per-view match even though he was in noticeable pain.

TNA definitely has a shortage of agents with Scott D'Amore leaving the company at the end of the month. Meanwhile, Savio goes way back with TNA creative team member Dutch Mantel, who has a lot of power within the company. It would be a logical hire on TNA's part and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens, but there wasn't much buzz about it backstage beyond people talking about the internet report.
