TNA president Dixie Carter made the trek to Washington D.C. within the last three months to meet with Congressmen regarding the steroid issue in professional wrestling. However, a source tells Prowrestling.net that she ended up meeting with Congressional assistants. The meeting took place prior to the company holding its first drug test. The wrestlers were told that the results of the tests would be made available to Congress. Attempts to reach Carter for comment and confirmation were unsuccessful.

Powell’s POV: To the best of my knowledge, Carter was not invited to the recent Congressional hearing that Vince McMahon caught so much heat for not attending. Frankly, I’m surprised the company hasn’t done more to tout the fact that they’ve cooperated with Congress via Carter’s trip and the drug test back in January. If nothing else, it's interesting to know that Congress's investigation has reached beyond WWE.
