Another TNA star's contract close to expiring

Christian Cage's contract with TNA will expire before the end of the year, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Other TNA deals that expire before the end of the year include Sting, Team 3D, and Kevin Nash.

Powell's POV: TNA's head of talent relations Terry Taylor has his work cut out for him. The Sting deal might be done or on the verge of being finalized since he was at the television tapings this week. The buzz at the previous set of tapings was that Sting wouldn't appear on television until his contract situation had been resolved.

I've spoken with WWE sources who feel the door is open for Cage to return. He left the company on decent terms and there is an obvious storyline with him and Edge facing off or reuniting. For what it's worth, he's told people in TNA that he's happy with his current pay and position in TNA. Then again, he told WWE officials that he wasn't going to TNA when his contract with the company expired. He's also expressed frustration with creative several times in the past.
