6/7 ROH in Philadelphia: Full results of ROH's "Respect is Earned II" pay-per-view taping with Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black vs. Bryan Danielson and Ausitn Aries
Jun 8, 2008 - 01:08 AM

ROH in Philadelphia, Pa.
Report by Herb Kraft

For more on tonight's taping, check out the coverage over at PWChronicle.com.

Pre-show matches

1. Mitch Franklin & Shane Hagadorn defeated The Osirian Portal.

2. Rhett Titus defeated Ernie Osiris to win the Top of the Class Trophy.

Main Show

1. Kevin Steen & El Generico defeated Ruckus & Jigsaw. El Generico won with the Steen Swanton followed by El Generico splash.

2. Claudio Castagnoli defeated Davey Richards. Forearm uppercut followed by a gorilla press.

3. Brent Albright and Delirious and Pelle Primeau defeated Chris Hero and Adam Pearce and Eddie Edwards. Albright won with knee strikes. After the match, Pearce laid out Albright with the briefcase. The infamous briefcase contained The NWA World Heavyweight Championship belt. This was the first time Pearce's title was discussed in ROH.

4. Roderick Strong defeated Erick Stevens in a Fight Without Honor. The end was insane. Strong won with a Superplex off a 20 foot ladder through a pair of tables. Roderick was invited to join Sweet and Sour by Mr. Sweeney. Strong declined. Davey Richards came and suggested that Roderick sign with S&S. After Strong refused again, Richards pulled off his shirt to reveal a Sweet and Sour Inc. t-shirt and attacked Strong.

~INTERMISSION~

Delirious invited Daizee Haze to the ring. Rhett Titus appeared. On his fourth request for a date, Haze declines. Then Titus apologizes for his earlier behavior, and suggests a date with all 3! Haze accepts.

5. Nigel McGuinness beat Go Shiozaki to retain the ROH Title. London Dungeon finisher. Shiozaki bled badly from the chest due to chops during the match.

6. Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black defeated Austin Aries & Bryan Danielson to retain the ROH Tag Titles. Tyler used the Phoenix Splash on Danielson for the win.

7. Jigsaw beat Eddie Kingston with a doublestomp off the top rope. BLKOUT appeared afterward and attacked Jigsaw.

8. Necro Butcher defeats Jay Briscoe in a falls count anywhere match. This "wrestling match" defies description. Insanely brutal all over the building.
