ROH News: An update on injured tag team champion Eddie Edwards
Sep 28, 2009 - 12:40 PM |
Eddie Edwards is scheduled to undergo surgery on Thursday to repair his broken elbow, according to the ROH Newswire. Edwards suffered the injury on Friday in Boston, yet still worked the Ladder War match at the New York event on Saturday night. To read more on the story, visit ROHwrestling.com.
Powell's POV: The story notes that Edwards will have a steel plate and screws inserted into his arm. He will miss some upcoming shows as a result. The initial estimate I heard was that he would require a six to eight week recovery period, but I'm sure they'll know more after he undergoes surgery.
