Ring of Honor "suspending" pay-per-views
Jun 11, 2009 - 09:34 AM |
Ring of Honor's final pay-per-view could turn out to be the "Take No Prisoners" event, which debuts Friday. PWInsider.com is reporting that ROH declined to renew their deal with G-Funk Entertainment. "Take No Prisoners" is the final pay-per-view on the contract with G-Funk.
Powell's POV: The story goes that ROH could do pay-per-views again at some point since the word "suspended" is being used to describe the situation. Am I the only one who is wondering whether this company is going to be around for the long haul? Granted, they didn't live and die on pay-per-view revenue, but there's no buzz about the product these days and there's no reason to believe the HDNet television deal has improved business tremendously.
