The following matches are advertised for the ROH "Rising Above" pay-per-view, which debuts on January 16.

-Nigel McGuinness vs. Bryan Danielson for the ROH Title.

-Jimmy Jacobs vs. Austin Aries in an I Quit match.

-Brent Albright, Roderick Strong, and Ace Steel vs. Davey Richards, Go Shiozaki, and Chris Hero.

-Claudio Castagnoli vs. Silas Young vs. Alex Payne vs. Sami Callahan in a four corners survival match.

-MsChif vs. Sara Del Rey for the SHIMMER Title.

-Kevin Steen and El Generico vs. The Briscoes for the ROH Tag Titles.

Powell's POV: This is one of the best lineups that ROH has assembled for pay-per-view. They did an excellent job of building to the ROH Title match, and the tag title match features two of the company's best tag teams, not to mention that the Aries vs. Jacobs feud has been strong.
