ROH News
ROH Champion Nigel McGuinness discusses his interest in WWE, new TNA wrestler featured
Aug 30, 2008 - 02:37 AM

Nigel McGuinness and Doug Williams are featured in the Kent News. The story states that Williams recently signed a deal with TNA wrestling, and noted that McGuinness has WWE aspirations. "I can’t begin to tell you how proud I am to be ROH champ," McGuinness said. "It means the world to me to follow in the footsteps of those who have held the title before me.

"As far as WWE goes—never say never. It would be fantastic to wrestle for the company that first made me a fan.” The story notes that Nigel is 32 years-old, and Williams is 35. Check out the full story by visiting KentNews.co.uk.

Powell's POV: I'm surprised that Nigel hasn't drawn more interest from WWE given his size, mic skills, and in-ring ability. You'd think that his English background would help his cause since WWE lacks a British babyface. By the way, we haven't seen Williams in TNA since the World X Cup tournament concluded.
