On ROH not changing titles frequently: "Honestly, I think it's a great idea, you know, how else are you going to make your championship look prestigious if it's going from person to person, almost like it's a prop. It makes it seem like an accomplishment when you win it, and for me when I won that title (ROH World Title) it seemed like a huge accomplishment, just because of the history behind it, and because it doesn't go from person to person."

On unprotected shots to the head being used in pro wrestling:
"I think it's something that shouldn't be completely out of wrestling. You know if it happens at the right time, and right place, and for the right reason I think it should be allowed to happen. I also see where ROH officials are coming from, (in reference of the Briscoes match at the last iPPV) they were just looking out for our best interest and sometimes guys get carried away, and I understand that. But we all want to be able to go out there and continue to be able to do what we do, and deliver for ROH and show what ROH is, but you can't be doing that if we are hurt."
