Ring of Honor wrestler Mike Sydal was injured during a dark match against Jay Bradley at Saturday's show in Chicago Ridge, Ill. Dot Net correspondent Brandon Mifsud reports that Sydal appeared to be knocked unconscious in the ring.

ROH booker Adam Pearce and Davey Richards were among the personnel that came to the ring to check on Sydal, who was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The crowd was told that he had suffered a neck injury. "He is conscious and has feeling so that's good," writes Mifsud.

Powell's POV: It sounds like it was a scary situation initially, but the show is going on as planned. Sydal is the brother of WWE star Evan Bourne. We will pass along updates if we hear more. Until then, we certainly wish him the best.
