Saturday Night Ringside format returning in the Twin Cities, airing along with the weekly ROH television show

Pro wrestling broadcaster Mick Karch announced on his Twitter page that he has accepted an on-air position with the CW affiliate in the Twin Cities. "Starting fairly soon, I will appear just before and just after the weekly 'Ring of Honor' programs on Saturday evenings at 9 p.m." Karch wrote.

"To start with, my segments will be short in duration, but at various times I will bring back some of the spots that were staples of "Saturday Night at Ringside" back in the day; news blurbs, interviews, Video Vault, Fan Feedback, Ringsider of the Week, etc. This is the first small step towards what we hope will be expanding segments in the future." Powell's POV: Wrestling fans my age in the Twin Cities area grew up watching Mick's Saturday NIght at Ringside block on Channel 23. Karch hosted segments in the local studio that aired along with blocks of regional pro wrestling shows from around the country. This should draw some local viewers who fondly remember SNR to watch the ROH show when it airs on Saturday nights on the local CW affiliate.
