Ring of Honor announced that their weekly television show on HDNet is moving to Monday nights at 7 p.m. CT beginning Aug. 17. "With this transition to a prime time slot, ROH is now in a position to kick off your Monday night wrestling viewing with a humongous bang, as we bring you what we believe is pound-for-pound the best wrestling program on television today," reads the press release. This move places ROH on HDNet in a position to gain more viewership, particularly among fans that are already accustomed to watching on that night."
Powell's POV: I love it. Great move by ROH and HDNet. The hope is that Raw viewers will tune in an hour early to watch the ROH program. They'll suffer when WWE runs three-hour shows, but I love this time slot much more than the Saturday evening slot.
