This most interesting quote is when Cole starts hyping the company, saying "ROH is the true alternative in professional wrestling. ROH and more specifically pro wrestling constantly needs to grow. ROH right now is the true epitome of wrestling evolving. With mixed martial arts exploding the way that it is and with a giant focus on what goes on in the cage, we still have creative story lines and interesting characters. We have a very high emphasis on in-ring action. Chicago is one of our favorite towns that we go to. This card is going to be one of the best cards we feature all year." Shore's Slant: Cole is saying all the right things, but he's just not telling the truth for most fans. ROH does not have compelling storylines or characters right now. They are more adrift than they have ever been. When the two singles titles are being challenged for by Mike Mondo (TV) and Rhino (world) then your storylines aren't lines, they're squiggles.
