ROH News: Update on The Briscoe Brothers leaving the company

The exit of Jay and Mark Briscoe had been planned for months and pre-dated Jay's latest Twitter meltdown, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com. Powell's POV: Johnson's story also states that while no WWE deal is on the table currently, there was interest from WWE at one time, though that may have changed due to Jay's controversial Twitter statements. This meshes with what Chris Shore had been told by his sources prior to Jay's Twitter rampage. The ROH Title status remains unknown at this point, and the angle that was done at the ROH television taping seems to leave the door open for Jay to keep the title should he opt to re-sign.
