ROH News: The 14th entrant in the ROH Title tournament

Ring of Honor announced that ROH TV Champion Matt Taven is the fourteenth entrant in the 16-man ROH Title tournament. Read the official announcement at ROHwrestling.com.

Powell's POV: ROH previously named Michael Elgin, Brian Kendrick, Karl Anderson, Kevin Steen, Paul London, Roderick Strong, Adam Cole, Sonjay Dutt, BJ Whitmer, Tomasso Ciampa, Jay Lethal, and Mike Bennett as entrants. There will be a qualifying match between Silas Young and Adam Page for another spot. The single elimination tournament begins on July 27 in Providence, Rhode Island and will conclude in Philadelphia, Pa. at Death Before Dishonor XI. Nigel McGuinness teased over the weekend at a Q&A session in Milwaukee that the No. 16 entrant is a "major name."
