ROH News: Ruling regarding the outcome of the ROH Title tournament match involving BJ Whitmer and Michael Bennett

Ring of Honor has announced that Michael Bennett is advancing in the ROH Title tournament. His first-round match with B.J. Whitmer came to an unplanned end when Whitmer suffered a neck injury and was taken to the hospital.

Powell's POV: The storyline is that matchmaker Nigel McGuinness determined that Bennett advances because he was the last man standing. Bennett will face Tommaso Ciampa on August 17.
