ROH News: ROH announces partnership with Pro Wrestling NOAH

ROH has announced a partnership with Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan that will bring Naomichi Marufuji and current GHC Jr. Heavyweight Champion Taiji Ishimori to the Border Wards iPPV on May 4 and the TV tapings held the next day. Shore's Slant: No word on who ROH will send to Japan. I like the idea in theory, but I don't know that it sells a single PPV to have guys most fans haven't heard of suddenly appear in non-storyline (at least initially) matches. It doesn't hurt them so party on, I just wonder if they shouldn't have put effort into some of the big problems they have right now.
