ROH News: Naomichi Marufuji cut from upcoming shows due to injury

ROH issued a release today stating that Pro Wrestling NOAH star Naomichi Marufuji would not be appearing at the Border Wars iPPV on May 4 or the TV tapings the following day due to a "serious knee injury." Shore's Slant: Marufuji was slated to face Davey Richards on Saturday night at Border Wars and Michael Elgin on Sunday afternoon at the TV tapings. Taiji Ishimori is still scheduled to appear both days, and it's possible NOAH sends another wrestler to replace the injured Marufuji.
