ROH News: Latest BJ Whitmer update is encouraging news

BJ Whitmer has full use of his arms and legs, but will remain in a Toronto hospital until at least Monday for further evaluation. Whitmer was injured at the ROH show in Toronto when he took a piledriver on the ring apron. ROH is updating his status via their Twitter page, @RingOfHonor.

Shore's Slant: The continued testing and evaluation may be precautionary or it may be indicative of a lack of knowledge of the extent of his injuries. Swelling makes imaging technologies fuzzy, so they may not know exactly how bad things are. Nevertheless, the full movement of his appendages is outstanding news, and I hope just the beginning of more outstanding news. My thoughts and prayers are with BJ Whitmer, and also for Mike Bennett, who I am sure is struggling today as well.
