ROH News: Jim Cornette out of creative

Jim Cornette is no longer serving as the primary creative force in Ring of Honor, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com. His duties will be assumed by Hunter Johnston (a/k/a Delirious), who had been working with Cornette on the creative side. Cornette will continue to work for the company behind the scenes.

Powell's POV: Cornette's departure was overdue. Cornette is great when it comes to providing sound logic, but the ROH product has felt more like a throwback than a cutting edge promotion that attempts new things to fill the gaps that WWE and TNA don't provide.
