ROH News: Former champion signs new deal

Ring of Honor issued a press release on Thursday to announce that former TV Champion Adam Cole has signed a new contract with the company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. "Resigning with Ring of Honor is exciting for me on many levels," Cole is quoted as saying in the press release.

"Getting to continue my journey in the best wrestling company in the world has my motivation and drive at an all time high. If you want to be the best, you prove it in Ring of Honor. And that's exactly what I plan on doing."

Powell's POV: Cole took part in a WWE developmental tryout camp recently so the news of him re-signing with ROH is somewhat surprising. Cole is a talented young performer and it's definitely a good move for ROH to keep him in the fold.
