ROH News: First details regarding the ROH TV tapings, Kings of Wrestling update

Ring of Honor issued a press release to announce some details about their August 13 television taping in Chicago Ridge, Ill.

ROH officials have been working overtime to prepare for our SBG debut, and have signed a handful of people to appear on 8/13. Not only that, but we can guarantee that all three ROH Titles will be defended as part of our very first broadcast TV Taping! Here’s a list of who has signed on to appear thus far:
 
- ROH World Champion Davey Richards will defend

- ROH World Tag Team Champions Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin will defend

- ROH World Television Champion El Generico will defend

- The Kings of Wrestling (Claudio Castagnoli & Chris Hero) with Shane Hagadorn

- Eddie Edwards

- Jay and Mark Briscoe

- The All Night Express (Rhett Titus & Kenny King)

Powell's POV: The most notable names on the list are The Kings of Wrestling if only because of their recent tryout with WWE. The press release also noted that additional names will be announced on Thursday. The first show will air on Sinclair Broadcast Group stations on September 24.
